The exchange rates of currencies that can be used in IDEP will be shown in this list.
These exchange rates are kept up-to-date automatically using the ECB Exchange rates. If you use a foreign currency in the declaration of a particular period, then the exchange rate that was valid in that period (1st of the month) will be used.
As opposed to in CBD-IRIS, in IDEP is not possible to define your own exchange rates; IDEP automatically supplies the exchange rates of the most commonly used currencies (e.g. those of the non-EURO EU-countries, USD, etc.). Should you require another currency, please contact the CBS.
In a details record you can fill in the (in general optional) currency code field (type in or choose from the list). In this case the (also optional) Invoice value chosen-currency field appears where you can type in the value in the foreign currency. The invoice value (in euro) will be computed automatically (using the most appropriate exchange rate).
